                    Jimmie Rush III was an active member in MVCC STEP from 2008 
                    through his graduation from TR Proctor High School, Utica 
                    NY, in June 2011. Jimmie has experienced much during his time 
                    with STEP, each year he grew exponentially and reached new 
                    heights. During his junior year he received the Proctor Magnet 
                    Bridge Scholarship, which allowed him to take his Senior year 
                    of high school at MVCC. Due to Jimmie’s success at MV, 
                    he was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He 
                    was then elected Vice President of Fellowship, all before 
                    graduating from high school! Jimmie participated in an engineering 
                    internship at Conmed, a global medical technology company, 
                    which lead to his current position as a paid intern. Upon 
                    graduation, Jimmie received the MVCC Presidential Scholarship, 
                    a full tuition scholarship to MVCC where he is currently a 
                    second year student. In addition, Jimmie has served as a STEP 
                    Peer Mentor/Tutor and attended the Annual STEP conference. 
                    He is currently an active member of MVCC CSTEP, pursuing a 
                    degree in Engineering Science. Jimmie is an exemplary student 
                    and an inspiration to fellow students.
