This website is a joint initiative involving national foundations, professional associations, health career advisors, educational institutions, and college students.


Summer Health Professions Education Program

SHPEP is a free (full tuition, housing, and meals) six-week summer academic enrichment program that offers freshman and sophomore college students intensive and personalized medical and dental school preparation.


NERA MedPrep Scholars Program

NERA MedPrep Scholars Program is a free summer enrichment program for under-represented and/or economically disadvantaged college students interested in the medical field. MedPrep is a 3 year summer commitment designed to give students an opportunity to develop key skills and competencies that are important to success on the road to medical school.
