Two CSTEP students from SUNY New Paltz participated in international
research programs during summer 2013. Francy Hernandez (Biochemistry,
2015) participated in the SUNY Old Westbury Minority and Health
Disparities International Research Training (MHIRT) program,
which took her to the Universite des Sciences et Technologies
in Lille, France. Her program ran from May 29 – July
31 and her project focused on neuroimmunology and proteomics.
RashidatSoetan (Psychology, 2014) participated in the SUNY
Global Laboratory through SUNY Oswego, which took her to the
Universidad de Iberoamerica in San Juan, Costa Rica. Her program
ran from June 29 – July 27 and her project.
