Significant Professional or Academic Accomplishments:

  • Participated in CSTEP from fall 2011-spring 2013
  • Was an NSF-S-STEM Scholar at SCCC
  • Graduated from SCCC Honors Program with a degree in Liberal Arts/Biology. He was designated Pi Alpha Sigma and Phi Theta Kappa.
  • He was a SUNY Chancellor’s Award Winner while an SCCC student
  • He completed a 2013 CCI Internship at Brookhaven National Laboratory. He was responsible for using perfluorocarbon tracers (PFTs) as tools for studying atomospheric dispersion in NYC subways.
  • He is currently attending Cornell University where he plans to study human biology and then apply to medical school
